After the general game idea was (kind of) finalized and first concept art was done, our Level Design Team and Environment Team started working on the setup of the game environment. First the level was blocked out in Blender. Where would the path be obstructed? How should the dimensions and proportions play out, especially in comparison to the player? Things like these were tested out.

The blocked concepts were then enhanced with more details.
